FAQ

What if my mala breaks?
All malas break eventually. The only constant is change, and all good things come to an end. When a loved mala breaks, it provides an opportunity to practice non-attachment, and to remember that while the object is gone, the lessons remain. Take a moment to reflect on your journey with your beads, and recognize the breaking of your mala as a fresh start, clean slate, a new step in your personal evolution.

But seriously...I loved that mala, and I'm not ready to let go.
Gather up your beads, send them our way, and we'll happily restring them with love. All you pay is the shipping.

What if my tassel gets tussled?
It happens... sometimes tassels get a little wonky. The great news is there's an easy fix! Fill up a glass with water, dip your tassel in. Pinch off the excess water by running your thumb and forefinger along the length of it. You can squeeze tightly together for more of a thin, fan shape or keep your fingers a bit loose for a cylinder. Hang your mala overnight to dry. Good as new!

What is your refund policy?
In general, we don't do refunds. However all of our products are handmade. Sometimes due to human error something can break or be slightly off. In this case, send it back and we will happily fix the item or send you a new one. If you receive something as a gift and it is not quite your style, send it back to us and once received we will offer you store credit.

Where do you get your materials?

We have many suppliers, all over! From Nepal to Morocco, New York City and Montreal we collect and source our stones and supplies from inspired people and inspiring places. All of our materials are ethically sourced. We try as hard as possible to know the full supply chain of where things are from. We like to do business with people who use mindful, conscious practices so that we too can be proud of how we conduct ourselves on the market. We do not source from places that use child labor, inexcusably low wages, pollute the environment or use business practices that we deem to be unjust.

Do you do custom orders?
Sure! Have a gift in mind for a special someone? Would you like a mala customized to your tastes? Shoot us an e-mail and we will do our best to make it happen.
